SSC CGL 2016,Briefly state with reference to the Staff Selection Commission notified Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016 in the subsequent Lines. The Staff Selection Commission shall conduct in November 2016 a Descriptive Test. Which Date shall be notified in October 2016 following announcement of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier II) Examination.

SSC CGL 18th Sept Paper-2 Results 2016

The Minimum Qualifying Marks to be secured by the Candidates to be considered Eligible for Tier III are 33%. Only the Candidates shortlisted in Tier II of the Staff Selection Commission notified Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier II) 2016 shall be summoned for appearing in the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-III), 2016.SSC CGL 2016

SSC CGL 2016,The Commission shall conduct the Combined Graduate Level (Tier III) Examination as stated in the subsequent Lines. An Additional Stage of Examination, i.e., Tier-III, has been introduced in concurrence with the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016, which would be a Descriptive Type Paper carrying 100 Marks in Pen and Paper Mode. The Duration of the Paper would be 01 (One) Hour.

This Paper has been introduced to assess the Writing Skills of the Candidates, which is necessary in the Government Services. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay / Passage of 250 Words and Letter / Application Writing having approximately 150 Words.

The Paper will have to be written either in Hindi Language or in English Language. Part Paper Written in Hindi Language and Part in English Language will not be evaluated. The Multiple Choice Questions in this paper would be of 10+2 Standard.

SSC CGL Paper-2016 Qualifying Marks

The Commission shall determine the Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks with declaration of the All India Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I) 2016.   

The Marks obtained by the candidates in Tier I & Tier II, together, would determine the Eligibility of the Candidates to appear in Tier III & Tier IV.

The Final Merit of the Successful candidates would be determined on the basis of the Total Score obtained by them in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III.

The Tentative Time scheduling for conducting of Tier-II would be November, 2016.

Tier – III and DEST / CPT is proposed to be held simultaneously in the month of January, 2017.

The Commission would make a concerted effort to declare the Final Result for CGLE, 2016 by the Last Week of April, 2017.

SSC CGL Descriptive Paper-2 2016 Cut Off Marks

The Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I) 2016, being conduct in Three Sessions (Forenoon / Afternoon / Evening) on the 2nd of September 2016. Comprising 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions carries 200 Marks with each Multiple Choice Questions allotted 02 Marks.

Tier-I

The All India Competitive Examination Combined Graduate Level  Examination  2016 consists of Four Parts, viz., (i) General Intelligence & Reasoning (ii) General Awareness (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (iv) English Comprehension. Each Part having 25 Multiple Choice Questions carries 50 Marks with Deduction of 0.50 Marks for each Wrong Answer.

The Candidates declared Qualified in Tier-I as per the Cut-off Marks fixed by the Commission would only be eligible to appear in Tier-II of the said Competitive Examination.

Tier-II

of the All India Competitive Examination Combined Graduate Level Exam 2016 would comprise Four Papers in Total with each Paper for Duration of Two Hours.

Of these Four Papers, Two Papers, i.e., Paper-I and Paper-II are compulsory for all the Candidates.

Paper – I shall be on Quantitative Ability (100 Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 Marks.

Each Multiple Choice Questions would carry 02 (Two) Marks with deduction of Negative 0.50 Marks for each Wrong Answer.

Paper – II shall be on English Language and Comprehension (200 Multiple Choice Questions) of 200 Total Marks.

Each Multiple Choice Questions therein would carry 01 (One) Mark with Penalty of 0.25 Marks for each Wrong Answer.

Paper-III would be on Statistics (100 Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 Marks. This Paper will be for those Candidates who have applied for the Post of Statistical Investigator (now known as Junior Statistical Officer). Each Multiple Choice Questions would carry 02 (Two) Marks with Deduction of 0.50 Marks for each Wrong Answer.

Paper – IV will be for those Candidates who have applied for the Post of Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) in C&AG. The said Paper shall consist of Two Parts.  i.e., Finance and Accounts for which there would be 40 Multiple Choice Questions of 80 Marks and Economics and Governance containing 60 Multiple Choice Questions shall carry 120 Marks. In all, there would be 100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 200 Marks with each question carrying 02 (Two) Marks. There shall be deduction of 0.50 Marks for each Wrong Answer. The Paper will be for a Duration of 02 (Two) Hours.

SSC CGL Descriptive Paper-2 2016 Merit List

Paper-I is based on 10th Standard Level, Paper-II of 10+2 Level and Paper-III & Paper – IV of Graduation Level.

Procedure for Selection:

Finally being conducted in three Tiers CGLE 2016 as indicated below:

 In Tier-II, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper-II and 0.50 marks in Paper-I and Paper-III for each wrong answer. Furthermore  Tier-IVTier-IV of the Examination would continue to be the Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) / Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) which would be of a Qualifying Nature. So DEST / CPT would be in consonance with the provisions contained in para 9(E) and 9(F) of the Notice of the Examination dated 13th February, 2016.
