The State Councils of Educational Research & Training have released the Notification for the display of Answers key of NTSE 2016 Examination Stage 1. SCERTs & Board of School Education conducted the State wise amongst WB NTSE/ Haryana NTSE/ ntse answer keyKerala NTSE/ Maha NTSE/ MP NTSE in other States & UTs on scheduled 6-11-2016. Subsequent to successfully completion of National Talent Search Examination 2016 on prescribed 6th November 2016 Councils/ Board shall display the Answers key/ Solved answers of the Paper-I/ Paper-II at the website portals of the Council websites stated under.


NTS Examination 2016 Answers key: As per notification Councils/ Board organized the National Talent Search Examination 2016 amongst the all States/ UTs on 6th Nov 2016 (Sunday). Earlier Eligible candidates (Only those who are studying in Class X during this academic year (2016 – 17) in any Government/Aided/Recognised schools/Kendriya Vidyalaya/ Navodaya Vidyalayas) participated in NTSE 2016 Stage-1 Objective type 200 marks Examination. Hereby through website portal link candidates in all respect of NTS 2016 Exam Solution should access the Exam Answers key from hither.

National Talent Search Exam NTSE 2016 Cut off Marks

The Candidates appeared in the said National-Means-Cum-Merit-Scholarship Scheme  / National Talent Search Examination 2016 shall have to obtain Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks, i.e., General 40%, Backward Card 35% Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Physically Challenged / Physically Challenged 25% .

But candidates must score a minimum for 40% marks in Language Comprehension Test.

Pattern of NTSE 2016


National-Means-Cum-Merit-Scholarship Scheme Examination 2016 for Class Xth (Pursuing) Students held in Regional languages / Hindi / Urdu / English Language). NTSE consisted of Part I (SAT) and then Part II (MAT) Examiantion of following marks syllabus:

  1. Mental Ability Test (MAT) – 90 Marks Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions.
  2. Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) – 90 Marks covering Social Science, Science and Mathematics of Class VII & VIII. Each Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type carry 01 (One) Mark

Declaration of Results

The results of the first stage of the exam are declared between February to April, varying from state to state. The results of the second stage are declared between July to September. Students are divided into 4 quotas: General, SC, ST, Disabled. Around 775 students are selected from General quota, 150 from SC, 50 from ST . The finals results of the second stage are displayed on the website www.ncert.nic.in by any time before May next year.They can publish final key/frozen key/revised key etc., as and when required
